Campo completed a fabulous wrestling career at St. Paul's with a perfect 5-0 record in February. Included in those five victories was the 132-pound championship at the state championship meet in Kenner on February 16. At the state meet, Campo scored three pins and a 17-1 technical decision in a dominant performance in his four victories after earning a first-round bye as the top-seed. He finished the season unbeaten at 46-0.

Campo’s efforts helped lead St. Paul's to a fourth-place team finish in the state in Division I. The senior finished his illustrious career at St. Paul's with a record of 194-27, starting in ninth grade for the Wolves’ varsity squad. He was a four-time St. Tammany Parish champion, a four-time all-6-5A performer, the 2013 district MVP and won back-to-back state championships in 2012 and 2013. Campo won at 126 pounds in 2012. He did not lose a match in Louisiana in 2012 and 2013, going 106-1 overall. His only loss was to a three-time Maryland state champion (by one point).

Campo was third at the prestigious Southeast Prep Slam event in Atlanta, Georgia in late 2012 and earned a spot on Team Louisiana for the Dixie Duals for 2012 and 2013. Campo earned All-American honors in 2011 for the USA Wrestling Cadet Folkstyle Nationals, where he finished fifth in the country in his weight class.

A four-year honor roll student at St. Paul’s, Campo is being actively recruited by North Carolina and Wartburg College (Iowa).

Campo’s outstanding month was selected over great efforts from SUNO women’s basketball star April Perry and UNO men’s standout Rarlensee Nelson. Perry averaged 26 points per game in February and was named the GCAC Player of the Year while Nelson was twice named the Independent Player of the Wee and finished with the second-best single-season assist total in school history.
