Numbers are very important to teams like De La Salle — especially when the Cavaliers are looking to dethrone perennial power Brusly.

De La Salle has five wrestlers in the semifinals, wrestled a Division I schedule and was the only other team aside from the Panthers to bring 14 wrestlers to the tournament.

The Cavs know numbers alone won't bring them a title.

"We've had a good showing so far, we're right up there with the top," De La Salle Coach Jake Karl. "We just need to keep wrestling like  we are capable and not make mental mistakes."

BRUSLY'S CHECKING NUMBERS ALSO: Brusly Coach Jimmy Bible said his team has a few numbers in mind as well.

The Panthers have 13 wrestlers in the semifinals but and have a few extra goals in mind aside from winning the Division III championship.

Bible said the Panthers aim to place all 14 of their entries and are looking to get 12 wrestlers into the finals.

They're are also aiming to score over 300 points at the tournament.
