When Covington's Brendan Allen meets Brother Martin's Yehia Riles in tomorrow's 182-pound semi-final, the match will settle a back-and-forth rivalry that has borne no favorite all season.

Allen defeated Riles in the George Trygg Invitational at the start of the season, while Riles evened the score at the St. Tammany Parish Invitational. Riles, ranked no. 2 in this tournament, has a 42-4 record on the line while Allen is 35-6.

EVERYTHING GOING ACCORDING TO PLAN: In the 285-pound division, the top four seeds reached the semifinals. Fontainebleau’s Christian Ponson, the top seed, has been on fire since declaring himself the man to beat at the Louisiana Classics in January. In the top half of the bracket, Ponson meets fourth-seeded Dominic Carmello of Jesuit while the other matchup features second-seeded Ryan Hanley of Rummel taking on the third seed, Conor Karwath of East Ascension. Ponson has two pins in two matches while Carmello has a pin and a decision. Hanley and Karwath each have two pins in two matches.
