There were numerous state champions crowned over the weekend in wrestling and indoor track and field.

At the LHSAA State Wrestling Championships at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner, Brother Martin snagged its third consecutive Division I wrestling title, and Jesuit finished second.

Teurlings Catholic outlasted Live Oak in Division II, and Shaw had a strong showing by coming in third, and Brusly set a new record for team score in winning the Division III championship, and De La Salle finished as the runner-up.
