1998: 22nd Annual Ken Cole Invitational Tournament

Comeaux High School, Lafayette, Louisiana

The largest field of teams, forty-five, participated in the 22nd edition of the tournament.  Jesuit not only earned the team title for the fifth straight year, but did so with a new team point total (297.5).  Matt Orillion of Jesuit and Roxie Shelvin of Franklin both moved up one weight class and were both successful in capturing their second first-place finish.  In probably the most exciting finals yet, nine of the matches were decided by decision.
