2007: 31st Annual Ken Cole Invitational Tournament

2007 proved to be a year of repeats.  Rummel and Catholic repeated as 1st and 2nd place teams, and three wrestlers repeated as champions - Johnny Cloutier (Henderson, Texas - 145 lbs.), Derrick Burbank (Acadiana - 152 lbs.) and Ivan Muller (Rummel - 285 lbs.).  The finals were exciting to watch - nine were won by decision, one by a major decision and three by technical falls.  The only pin in the finals was by David Bonin (Comeaux) who went on the win the Outstanding Wrestler award in the upper weight classes at 160 lbs.
