Biography
Dr. Accardo is a retired orthopedic surgeon who resides in Franklin Louisiana. He was a graduate of Jesuit High School of New Orleans, received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in U.S. foreign policy from Tulane University and his M.D. from LSU Medical School in New Orleans.
He has been the team doctor for the U.S. National Wrestling Team at 8 world championships. Dr. Accardo was also a volunteer wrestling coach for 18 years at Hanson Memorial and Franklin Senior High. Dr. Accardo is a Roman Catholic and has been married to Rebecca Levell Accardo for 29 years. He has three kids as well as a daughter-in-law and a grandson. Currently Dr. Accardo serves as a member of the board of directors at Franklin Foundation Hospital.
