Coach Bill Bofinger of Lee High in Baton Rouge has compiled and published a comprehensive history of  Louisiana high school state wrestling tournaments, starting with the first tournament held at the New Orleans Athletic Club in 1945, and currently updated as far as the 2004 state tournament.  The book not only provides lists of team scores, state champions, runner-ups and final match scores, but also includes narratives for each year, profiles of prominent figures in Louisiana high school wrestling history and tables of multiple state champions.  Ready....Wrestle is a "must" for anyone who participated in a Louisiana state wrestling tournament.
